About Me
**A little introduction to Wendy**

Hello! My name is Wendy and I am a proud native of the diverse and vibrant San Francisco Bay Area. Being raised by parents who are originally from Hong Kong, I grew up speaking both English and Cantonese fluently. My bilingual skills have come in handy on countless occasions and I feel truly blessed!

**Why was Wendy Tin Events created?**
​
Ever since planning my own wedding in 2018, I unearthed a fiery passion towards events planning. Despite being the sole planner along with minimal prior experience and a tight budget, I successfully planned and executed my dinner reception for 250+ guests. That experience taught me to become more effective at negotiating as well as more financially savvy. To continue igniting this passion of mine over the last 7 years, I have often volunteered to be a planner for large corporate events at my previous workplaces.

**What is Wendy's day job?**

Professionally, I am a community pharmacist and have always enjoyed working with people of all different backgrounds. I pay meticulous attention to the smallest details and pride myself in being an easygoing person to collaborate with.

I completely recognize the stress that may come with planning events because often times it can be overwhelming, but rest assured that I love a challenge! :) My services include planning for events such as birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, showers, graduations, and many more. If you are in need of an event planner who is familiar with the Bay Area and fluent in both English/Cantonese (I am also comfortable working with Chinese wedding customs), I am the person you have been looking for!​

Your event will be meticulously planned to ensure every detail aligns with your needs and stays within your budget. Our team is committed to making your vision a reality while providing exceptional service and support throughout the planning process.

At this stage, you will be signing the contract which outlines the terms and conditions of the services we will be providing.
Finalization of Event Agenda

Here, we will be finalizing the details of your event agenda and guest list, reviewing everything thoroughly with you. Your input is to ensure that all aspects meet your expectations.
Event Day!

Your big day is finally here!! To make sure everything runs smoothly and according to plan, we highly recommend selecting someone as your day-of coordinator. This could be a trusted family member or friend who can help manage the details on the day of your event.

If you would prefer, our team is also available to provide this service on the day of your event for an additional fee. This should ideally be decided when the contract is signed.
